Now in it’s 3rd year, The Secret Coffee Club is a socially supportive non-traditional networking group for people who work from home in their own business, or as remote workers.
We meet the 3rd or 4th Thursday of each month for coffee, cake, conversation and the kind of community support network you can only really get from people who understand what it’s like to build a business or career alone.
This is for anyone who lives in open-heartedness and value the perspectives and contributions to be gained from all walks of life.
We talk shop, yes. We ask for advice, ideas, share troubles, brain-storm ideas & solutions, laugh and shed a tear or two. And we forge relationships that mean something. We get to know each other as people with whole lives to juggle. We come together to brainstorm, support and be supported, and decompress in a safe, inclusive space.
So if flinging business cards is your idea of hell, and feeling safe to laugh and cry in the same breath is your idea of heaven, book this into your calendar as your mental wellness essential for running your work from your own home and head.
We meet somewhere different every month for the change - small adventures, right? - and have our favourite spots for summer sun and winter warmth. When you have your ticket, you’ll get an email telling you where we’re meeting this month. (Make sure you say yes to marketing or you won’t get emails!)

The Business of Better is a different kind of networking.
We’ve been told that building our business successfully means working harder, following others’ idea of the rules, and somehow finding a few extra hours that just don't exist.
I don't believe that's true. I believe better business for us starts, genuinely, with being a real life human, warts and all. The kind of human who can cope in a crisis, flow through the ups and downs, and at the same time be open about sharing struggles and mistakes, all while celebrating success - and feeling grounded and safe doing it.
That's why I'm bringing The Secret Coffee Club: The Business of Better… to Christchurch.
The Business of Better is a new series of monthly conversations for business owners, freelancers and remote-working professionals who want to build lives and businesses that are genuinely successful on the inside - not just from the outside looking in. And that means getting out of the house, away from pitches and polished answers, and into a space where you learn ways of Being that make everything feels easier
Each month we'll explore important aspects of being a human-shaped business that supports the way we work, think, lead and connect. We'll talk honestly, think differently, and challenge the ideas that keep us stuck. And you'll leave with practical tools, fresh perspectives and meaningful connections you can take straight back into your business and your life.
Our first Founding Series runs from September to December:

Be one of the first to join the Business of Better (henceforth known as BoB) for a Founder Rate cost of £35 / session, or £120 for all 4 of the Founding Series (September-December). After these are sold, the standard rate is £45 / Session and £150 for the 4 sessions of 2026.
Your ticket incudes your afternoon refreshment of tea or coffee on arrival, and snacks to keep us going.

Asynchronous is a fancy word for ‘happening at random, unstructured times, often unconnected, not requiring immediate attention - pretty much the way our creative brains work.
Asynchronous Coaching means I support you on the path you’ve chosen for yourself; you get to message me (typed or voice-noted) whenever ideas arrive and you need to brainstorm, realisations drop and you just need to share, thoughts interfere and you want them out of your head, or emotions bubble up and, actually, need attention.
This is the most cost-effective form of coaching. Access to me whenever you need it, my attention as soon as I can give it - in exactly the way that helps you process. Accountability to get things done, a friendly voice reminding you that you are , in fact, totally sane - and to go get water.
You’ll get virtual hugs when you need them, and a boot up the bum when you need that.
We get to know each other really well, so you won’t get away with being hard on yourself - or slacking!

£50 per calendar month, with extra check-ins from me if I haven’t heard from you for a few days.
