Why My Clients Choose Me – What Makes me Different
Understand → Regulate → Rewire
I don’t use a one-size-fits-all method. Humans don’t work that way. I recognise what would suit you and we develop the roadmap together.
Yes, you’ll be challenged to leave the comfort zone that you’ve been hiding in, but the sessions are led by you - you will always be in control.
My work blends education, therapeutic insights, mind coaching, nervous system awareness, writing, meditation, and lived experience. What matters isn’t the technique, but the way you feel – and feel able to do - after your session.
I use a blend somatic conscious mind therapy and conscious coaching techniques for whole-person, whole-life healing. No part of our lives can really be compartmentalised – events, memories, emotions, fears, all affect our whole lives, and I believe understanding and coming to terms with your past, living in real presence and being the creator of our own future is how we live honestly, hopefully and happily.
I understand neurodivergence and trauma, both from an attachment perspective, (c)PTSD perspective and life-altering event perspective. They are not always separate and as such, one affects the other. Working with the complexities of each individual’s life is the key to reducing the hold they have over us, and allows us to have trust in ourselves and in our own choices.
I work mostly relationally: looking at the things & the people who have impacted your life, what’s happening now for you, and what you want for your future. I also utilise some frameworks for structure where it is needed. This fluidity and personalisation support your growth.
I believe in the blend of compassion and accountability: I will help you understand, accept, even forgive if you want to – whatever helps you let go of the things that hurt you and keep you stuck. And I will help you move forward with resilience and stoicism so that you become the master of your own nervous system, emotions, decisions and plans.
Doesn’t that sound good?
HOW CAN I HELP?
What you want and what you need may match perfectly – but it’s possible that you’re struggling to identify exactly what will change things for you.
You might believe you’re stuck in one area of life, but often the challenge spreads itself through all facets of your life, affecting parts that you believed separate.
Something more therapeutic vs. something more forward-focused – or both?
Something that changes a personal problem vs something that affects your work life – or both?
The Path
1. Understand
We explore your patterns, history, relationships, and inner world, without judgment, blame, labels, or expectations. You begin to see why you feel and react the way you do.
2. Regulate
We work with the nervous system so you feel safer, steadier, and more present. This isn’t woo woo – it’s the blend of psychology, neuroscience and emotional regulation that we never learned as children, or that was damaged when a life-altering event de-railed us. Change doesn’t happen when your system feels under threat, which is made those patterns get stuck in the first place. Change happens when your body feels safe under the supervision of your amazing mind functioning at its best.
3. Rewire
Through reflection, writing, dialogue, practice, and integration, you begin responding differently, with more choice and self-trust. This is where insight and knowledge becomes lived change, chosen by the You who feels grounded, calm and able to see the true nature of your own potential.
What This Isn’t
No quick fixes that don’t last. Bypassing, depending on outside frameworks to help you, is temporary relief, not change. This is the deep work that you know you really need. Comfort and candles ease the stress temporarily, but your active participation in your own healing is what tilts the world to feel like it’s yours now.
No rigid formulas that don’t work for you. We improvise, adapt and overcome in a way that works for your individual experiences, needs and dreams.
What It Is
Deep, grounded, human work that makes real-life differences.
Spacious but purposeful – growth in various, complimentary ways.
Gentle and transformative, rediscovering the You that you do know is there, waiting.
The kind of ‘inside job’ that lasts and keeps you growing.
